Can a Playstation 2 slim play Playstation Games?

I would like to get Final Fantasy VII, but it is a playstation game, and i only have a Ps2 Slim. Will it work on it?

Yea ofcourse it will ..i had a PS2 slim its busted now lol but yea it would play every PS game …. Final Fantasy yea sweet game i used to play it….but if you want the real gaming experience get a PS3 or Xbox 360….
